    Upon the passing of our father, we needed to place the unique waterfront property that was his home on the market. Kim immediately grasped that we were not just selling our father’s home: we were selling his legacy and the product of a lifetime of hard work and passion.  Her compassion was obvious and genuine but she also understood that we needed her to bring a dispassionate voice to this process. When asked her for professional opinion, she told us the price she would opt for were it her property and why. We deferred to her professional judgment. It turned out to be an incredibly sound choice on our part.

Her mastery of technology and understanding of the power of image was, in a word, artful. The entire family was emotionally moved by the video she produced to introduce the home to the market. The 3-D tour of the home was by far the best and smoothest experience I have ever had with such an application. Apparently, the market was impressed by her work as well. By my count, 32 visits were scheduled in the first 48 hours.

 

    The house went on the market on a Thursday morning at 8:00 AM. By Friday evening, we had 6 offers all over the asking price. It was exactly what she had predicted for the price that we opted to list at and why she had suggested it as our best option. Kim sent us the various offerings and helped us understand the nuances of each. While the choice was ours, she was instrumental in talking us through the process and ultimately we opted to follow her advice without reservation. It included this bit of wisdom from her: “I am a firm believer that transactions finish the way they start and you should always meet people with the same enthusiasm that they bring to a process.” That resonated with us. It speaks to a business philosophy grounded in honest interactions and ethically derived choices.
